Online counselling for OCD, anxiety and life challenges
Georgia Edwards · Integrative Counsellor
Hi, I’m Georgia, an integrative counsellor. I believe counselling works best when it is shaped around you. Everyone brings their own experiences, personality, circumstances and way of making sense of the world, so I take a flexible approach that considers your individual needs.
I draw on different therapeutic approaches, including Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy. I can also incorporate creative approaches when these feel helpful, particularly when words alone don’t quite capture what you’re experiencing.
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, relationship difficulties and life changes. I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing OCD and intrusive thoughts.

Counselling shaped around you
I believe counselling works best when it is shaped around you. Rather than following one fixed model, I adapt our sessions to your experiences, needs and what feels most helpful.
I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, CBT and Compassion Focused Therapy. I also incorporate creative approaches when words alone don’t quite capture what you’re experiencing.
I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing OCD and intrusive thoughts. I offer a space where you can explore these experiences openly, without fear of judgement.
More about how I work with OCD
OCD can take many different forms, involving unwanted thoughts, images or urges, alongside behaviours, rituals or mental compulsions that can feel difficult to control.
It can be exhausting and isolating, particularly when you’re caught in cycles of doubt, fear and reassurance-seeking.
When working with OCD, I can integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy and principles drawn from Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), alongside my wider integrative approach.
Sometimes our work may involve structured approaches to OCD and compulsions. At other times, we may explore underlying emotions, relationships, self-beliefs or past experiences.
My aim is to work alongside you to find an approach that feels both supportive and purposeful.
