Molly founded Inside Intrusive after opening up online about intrusive thoughts and her experiences of OCD. She received an OCD diagnosis in 2024, having begun sharing her story to connect with others who might have been feeling frightened or isolated.
Before launching Inside Intrusive, Molly ran weekly support groups. These brought together people experiencing different forms of OCD and gave her a place to share personal experiences, ideas drawn from therapy and insight gained from professionals.
Inside Intrusive grew out of that community. Molly continues to advocate publicly for more open conversations about OCD and helps bring together the mix of professionals and lived-experience advocates involved in sessions today.

Questions about our team
A few answers about our team and who runs each session.
Who will lead my session?
Each event listing names the facilitator or speakers. Different team members lead different topics, so have a look at the upcoming groups or events to see who will be there.
Are all team members therapists?
No. Our team includes psychotherapists, healthcare professionals, people in training and lived-experience advocates. Their backgrounds are described above. Someone sharing their personal experience is not necessarily a qualified therapist.
Is attending a session the same as getting individual therapy?
No. Our online groups are designed for education, support and connection. Even a therapist-led group does not create a private clinical treatment relationship. If you need individual OCD treatment, please seek advice from a qualified clinician.
